Roof Leak Repair in Las Vegas

In a city that gets little rain, a leak can go unnoticed until a monsoon storm finds it. The stain on your ceiling is the end of the story. A roofer has to work back to where it started.

Where Las Vegas roofs usually leak

Roof penetrations

Plumbing vents, exhaust fans, and A/C or evaporative cooler stands. Sealants and rubber collars break down in the sun.

Valleys

Where two slopes meet, water concentrates and wind-blown debris piles up.

Wall and parapet flashing

Stucco-to-roof transitions on two-story homes and flat-roof parapets.

Under the tile

Worn underlayment, often the root cause on older tile roofs. See tile underlayment.

A good repair visit

  • Starts inside: stain location, attic inspection where possible
  • Checks everything uphill of the stain, not just directly above it
  • Explains whether this is a spot fix or a sign of wider wear
  • Gives you a written price and photos of what they found

Leak repair FAQ

Why did my roof leak only now when it's been dry for months?

Damage can build up quietly over long dry spells: cracked tile, dried-out underlayment, a lifted vent flashing. It only shows when heavy rain finally arrives. That's typical of monsoon-season leaks.

Can one cracked tile cause a leak?

Not always right away, because the underlayment beneath is the real waterproofing. But a broken tile exposes that underlayment to sun and water, which speeds up its failure. Replace cracked tiles promptly.

Is roof repair work done in the summer?

Many roofers work through summer, often starting early in the day because of the heat. Ask about scheduling when you call.
