Independent referral service for Las Vegas valley homeowners, connecting you with licensed local roofers

Las Vegas Roofing FAQ

Answers to the questions valley homeowners ask before they call a roofer.

How does 702Roofer.com work?

We're an independent advertising and referral service. Your call or form request goes to a participating independent roofing contractor in the Las Vegas valley, who inspects, quotes and performs any work.

Why does my tile roof leak if the tiles look fine?

On tile roofs, the underlayment beneath the tile is the waterproof layer, and it can wear out while the tile still looks good. See our tile underlayment page.

What license should a Las Vegas roofer have?

An active Nevada State Contractors Board license in the right classification. NAC 624 lists C-15/C-15a for roofing and C-36 for polyurethane foam and coatings.

Do you show prices?

No. Estimates depend on size, pitch, material, access, solar and deck condition, all of which require an inspection.

Will my HOA need to approve the roof?

If you're in an HOA, check the CC&Rs. Changes in roof material or color often need architectural approval.

When is monsoon season?

The NWS defines the Southwest monsoon season as June 15 through September 30. Its Las Vegas climate summary says storms typically come in July and August.

How do I avoid storm chasers?

Verify the license, get written estimates, and don't feel pressured to sign on the spot.

Is my information shared?

Only with the participating contractor handling your request. See the Privacy Policy.
